DAY 1: DEPARTURE DAY

Depart from your respective airport on an overnight flight to Quito. Get ready for an amazing journey through Ecuador!

DAY 2: QUITO

Arrive in Quito and meet your tour director. Guided city tour of one of South America’s most vibrant cities. Welcome dinner with Ecuadorians.

DAY 3: QUITO & NEARBY REGION

Begin the day with an educational introduction to the Galápagos Islands at the hotel. Then, travel the foothills of the Andes mountains for a pleasant hike. Visit Cayambe-Coca Ecological Reserve and Papallacta Volcanic Hot Springs.

DAY 4: QUITO & GALAPAGOS

Fly to Baltra Island. From there, navigate to Isla Isabela. Relax at the beach on your first day of experiencing the Galápagos.

DAY 5: GALAPAGOS

Begin the day with a snorkeling tour of Concha Pearl lagoon. Cross the channel to Islote Tintoreras. Enjoy wildlife sightings of marine iguanas, penguins and sea lions. Interact with locals on a guided nature/science-filled walking tour of the region.

DAY 6: GALAPAGOS

Explore Sierra Negra Volcano, home of the world’s second largest volcanic crater. Meet park rangers and farmers at Campo Duro as you enjoy time at a farm observing wildlife. Visit La Bocanilla and Volcán Chico.

DAY 7: GALAPAGOS

Discover the “Wall of Tears” as you spend another day at one of the world’s most unique and unforgettable national parks. Explore Flamingo Lagoon as you visit a giant tortoise breeding center in Isabela.

DAY 8: GALAPAGOS

Explore Isla Santa Cruz while shopping at picturesque Puerto Ayora. Visit the Darwin Research Center.

DAY 9: GALAPAGOS, QUITO, HOME

Travel back to Baltra Airport and Quito. Depart at night for flight home. Most groups will arrive home on the morning of day ten.
