Costa Rica has reopened to tourism as of August 1st, 2020. Travelers from the European Union, Schengen Area, United Kingdom, and Canada are now granted entrance provided certain requirements are met. Travelers will need to provide the following:
1. Molecular Covid test that was done not more than 48 hours before departure
2. Filled out health declaration form
3. Travel insurance purchased through Costa Rica
Although the U.S. is not yet included on the list of countries granted entry, we are excited as it means that Costa Rica may be one of the first destinations we will be able to offer our travelers in the coming months.
For more information on the current requirements to travel to Costa Rica, please check the website for the Costa Rican Embassy.
